Written by John Cariani and directed by Joseph Pratt and Ruthie Stanley\, the show displays the talents of 19 local individuals.\n\nThese charming and complex characters navigate the waters of life in the small place of Almost\, Maine\, showing how different romance can be for different people. The play jumps into the love stories of Almost's inhabitants at different stages-- from young to old. It is whimsical\, odd\, deep and sweet\, never missing a beat.\n\nThis show is serving as a fundraiser for the theatre's sound replacement. The theatre is more than of the way there and actually ordered sound for this show\, knowing it will carry us across the line! So\, come and hear our near\, impressive sound upgrades during this show.\n\nAlso\, so that the show could have some very neat additions\, Almost\, Maine is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings of Portsmouth\, owned by Schmidt Family Restaurant Group. Their generosity covers the expense of this show nearly in full\, allowing us to also purchase some neat new tech that will debut in this show and then continue in various shows at the PLT moving forward!\n\nWe have been investing a ton into the theatre\, thanks to the generosity of our community. Nearly $30\,000!
