Emancipation Day
September 22nd – Emancipation Day & Student Unity Video Project at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts. The event will include an educational presentation on the local history of the abolition and the Underground Railroad, a musical program, video presentations by participating schools, and an award ceremony.
