Fossil, Rock, and Mineral Day at the MSPIB Farmers Market features representatives of the Shawnee State University Geology Department and local Rock Enthusiasts sharing their knowledge and collection objects. Come discover the fossils that can be found in our region, as well as the wide variety of rocks and minerals that exist around the world!

During the season, the Farmers Market is open from 9am to noon every Saturday on The Roy Rogers Esplanade. The Esplanade is located on the northeast corner of Chillicothe Street and Gallia Street in Downtown Portsmouth, Ohio.
The Main Street Portsmouth In Bloom [MSPIB] Farmers Market was founded by the DeAtley Family. Laurel, Craig, and Heather DeAtley recognized the need to provide a Downtown space for the region's Farms and Cottage Industry to share produce and wares with The Community.
?In addition to booths, the MSPIB Farmers Market also features events, including agriculture education, art activities, and musical performances. A number of area institutions attend the Farmers Market to provide information on events and services, especially those catering to youth and seniors.
The MSPIB Farmers Market follows Ohio Cottage Industry Rules. Interested Vendors are encouraged to apply.
