Steve is currently the Safety Manager for Solvay Specialty Polymers a division of Syensqo and has been in that position for over 10 years. Prior to that, he has held similar positions at American Electric Power, Chevron, Chevron Phillips, SABIC, and Momentive Performance Products. He led the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program and achieved STAR status for Chevron Phillips.
 
He has a Bachelors and a Masters Degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety from the Statler College of Engineering at West Virginia University. Steve also has his certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He is an OSHA 500 and 501 certified trainer and a Radiation Safety Officer.
